7 things to do that don't require a computer

"After that last video, you may be wondering, 'OK, so Ashley's getting herself all worked up over this Internet stuff. What else does she do in her spare time?' This week I'm going to show you"

First two videos of the semester

Famous Ashley's Morning Webcam
"I'm gonna be famous. I am going to be sooo famous."

"Famous Ashley's Morning Webcam" is a parody of the genre of video journals wherein the user-author documents the minutiae of their day-to-day experience and broadcasts their findings to the wide open internets. Because they're going to be so famous.

A Lossy Lass
"There are two types of codecs: lossy and lossless."

"A Lossy Lass" is an experiment where I gradually degrade the image and the sound over the course of the video. Video compression is such an integral part of digital distribution that it has to be confronted in the work at some point. This video attempts to address that.
